Blog, DIYs

I am one of those people who hoard anything that could have even the tiniest bit of sentimental value. If a day was important to me in any way, I’ll make sure I keep leaflets, tickets, even receipts, you name it, I’ll hoard it.

So when my Auntie gave me a scrapbook for my birthday I thought, PERFECT, I can put all my accumulated bits and pieces to use!

Finding the time to actually sit down and do it isn’t always easy but as it’s such a lovely thing to do, I try my very best to keep it up to date. So when I had a bit of time yesterday, I grabbed all my scraps from Barcelona, got my craft box out, put on my music, made a cuppa and started scrapbooking.

I have a crafty box full of lots of bits and bobs like buttons, ribbon, wrapping paper, anything that I can use to jazz up a page.

Buttons are probably my most used item in my box of crafty goods, I can always rely on them to fill a gap and they look super cute as well!

A new addition to my box is my patterned washi tape, and it’s something I really enjoyed using. I feel it added a little something extra, and it is more fun than using a pritt stick all the time. I am also LOVING using my handy little guillotine. It’s super quick and easy, and also aids my OCD need for neatness.

I love scrapbooking so much. It’s a way of documenting the many photographs I take, and the bits and pieces I collect along the way. I also love the fact that it will always be there to look back on and remind me how much fun I’ve had on my most special days. What can I say? I’m a sentimental kinda gal!

Lots of love,

Jenny xx

P.S I’ve written a blog post on my trip to Barcelona, if you’d read it click here.
